There is a growing amount of clinical evidence that suggests a co-occurrence between individuals who have gender dysphoria and are neurodiverse. Despite this connection, gender and neurodiversity continue to be pathologized and “treated” separately. This workshop aims to provide a systematic overview of the current understanding regarding the co-occurence of gender dysphoria and neurodiversity. The two day workshop will begin by introducing a general framework for understanding disability justice and liberation. The presenters will then share their experiences as individuals who identify as trans and neurodiverse. The workshop will close by providing attendees with practical tools to help them listen to youth who are going through this unique experience and honor that process by looking at it from a framework that takes away from a lens of pathology.

Queer Digital Hppy Hour is an accessable, chill, and cheap, zoom metup for queer womxn, trans non-binary and gender non-conforming folx. Small groups, live music, comedy video, audio, text hang options. Ocssional live music, comedy, discussions, and always chill socializing.
Participants will be put into small groups for a more manageable hangout. Moderaters will always be on hand if you want to swtich groups, are being bothered (c'mon folks, just be cool!) or need help with any aspect of the tech!
You can join when you like by video, text, audio or all of the above, and by all means don't have to stay for the whole hang! just drop by when you can!
